After decades of practice devoted to employment law and workplace rights, Robert has a deep appreciation for the value of resolution and finality of disputes.
Drawing on his experience at the EEOC and in private practice, Robert is committed to providing effective solutions to complex and sensitive employment matters. During his tenure as Regional Attorney for the EEOC, Robert was responsible for decision-making on cases filed in the Southeast Region and attended nearly 100 mediations. Participating as decision maker provided a unique perspective to observe effective techniques and approaches used by different mediators to facilitate resolutions. Robert used this opportunity as a learning experience and now incorporates some of these techniques and approaches in his mediation practice. Prior to his service at the EEOC, Robert conducted multiple mediations on employment matters under Title VII and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
As a Certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator, Robert provides mediation services for all types of civil litigation, specializing in employment and civil rights matters, including violations of civil rights and discrimination in employment based on race, gender, color, national origin, religion, age, and disability. Mediations may be conducted via Zoom or in-person in our offices conveniently located in the heart of Coral Gables, Florida.
