CMM represents individuals who have been subjected to unlawful discrimination in the workplace, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination. Jason S. Mazer’s inspiration to fight for justice in this area followed a full-time internship at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, prosecuting pattern or practice employment discrimination cases. After graduating from law school, he joined the Miami office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, gaining invaluable experience representing management in labor and employment disputes. Ever since, Jason exclusively represents executives, professionals, and other individuals in employment disputes. Jason has handled several high-profile sex and race discrimination cases, and routinely provides counsel to clients with respect to breach of employment agreements and executive severance disputes.
In 2017, Jason was named Miami’s “Lawyer of the Year” for Employment Law-Individuals by The Best Lawyers in America. He has effectively handled employment matters for over 20 years, regularly litigates in federal and state courts, and has considerable experience with workplace discrimination claims on account of sex, race, age, disability, and national origin. Jason is considered a “go-to” employment lawyer, whether discretely settling sensitive matters or advocating for his clients in contentious, high-stakes litigation. Long before the #MeToo movement shined a bright light on workplace harassment, Jason considered it a privilege to fight for fairness and equality in the workplace one client at a time.
