Robert and Jason are committed to delivering results and providing clients with experience and personal attention in the employment and labor law arena.

Jason Mazer is the recipient of The Best Lawyers in America Lawyer of the Year for Employment Law-Individuals in 2017.  He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, and he takes pride in creatively resolving matters for his clients.  Part of his success is keeping the focus on the best interests of his clients, seeing them as real people, and having the unique ability to illustrate how their lives are affected by the legal issues presented.   Jason has been inspired to fight for workplace justice since holding a full-time internship at the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, where he prosecuted pattern or practice employment discrimination cases.  After graduating from law school, he joined the Miami office of Morgan, Lewis and Bockius, LLP, where he gained valuable experience representing management in labor and employment disputes. For the past twenty years, Jason has exclusively handled employment matters for individuals, including several high-profile sex and race discrimination cases.  He also exclusively represents policyholders in insurance coverage and bad faith matters and has become a nationally recognized leader in disputes with insurance companies.   Jason feels privileged to serve the public interest in these disciplines.

Robert has devoted his entire professional career to the pursuit of justice and ending unlawful discrimination.  In his public life, he served as the Regional Attorney for the Miami District of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) for the past 13 years (which includes the State of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands).  At the EEOC, Robert was involved in some of the most important cases and legal developments in employment law and oversaw the resolution of many important cases involving a range of issues and resulting in a number of multi-million-dollar settlements.  His experience includes overseeing successful lawsuits against substantial entities in the hospitality, pharmaceutical, healthcare, automotive, agriculture, construction, manufacturing, and financial industries.    Over his approximately twenty years in private practice, Robert also handled employment and civil rights cases with the same zealous advocacy.  His commitment and passion to this work resulted in numerous positive changes in the law.
