Kathleen M. Shaw, Senior Paralegal and Business Manager for Cimo Mazer Mark has extensive law firm experience.  Kathleen’s focus has always been on a collaborative approach to handling the legal and administrative needs of clients. Kathleen is a skilled litigation paralegal and has handled all types of commercial cases at the trial and appellate levels.   For the past ten years, Kathleen has focused on complex insurance recovery, bad faith, health care reimbursement, and complex business litigation. She has worked with court-appointed fiduciaries and other clients across multiple industry sectors on a wide range of insurance and litigation matters and has participated in many jury trials at both the state and federal level. Her background and administrative acumen serve her well as the firm’s Business Manager.

Throughout her career, Kathleen has leveraged technology to support client needs and has been extensively involved in the selection and implementation of litigation support solutions. Kathleen serves as a consultant to clients and attorneys regarding project management, electronic discovery projects, and technology to improve efficiencies in the litigation process. She has broad experience assisting clients with complex eDiscovery and forensic needs that arise from complex litigation, and leads the firm in areas of electronic discovery, data privacy, and information governance. She also advises the firm on litigation readiness, eDiscovery best practices, legal cost control, and performance management. Kathleen strives to use technology to increase efficiency and quality to obtain better outcomes for clients.

Kathleen is a dedicated professional long known to provide unparalleled and timely service to firm clients. She worked alongside Jason S. Mazer on many complex and high-profile matters at their prior firm for over ten years. Kathleen is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and is involved in numerous organizations related to her alma mater. Kathleen also serves the community by participating in fund raising events for charitable organizations.
